Aaron Brussat’s professional beer journey began in 2010 as a beer stocker at the legendary Bier Stein Bottleshop & Pub, weaving through roles from beer journalist to brewer. As Head Brewer at Claim 52, Aaron treats the brewery as his test kitchen, perfecting traditional favorites like crispy Kölschs, fruit-forward Hazy IPAs, and complex Belgian ales. Despite all the cleaning, he loves the messy middle of developing new recipes. You’ll often see him at the Claim 52 Kitchen leading educational initiatives like ‘Beer Flight School’ to help make beer fun and accessible for everyone.

Known for his whimsical and joyful approach, Aaron’s motto, ‘It’s just beer,’ always lightens the mood, especially when he compares himself to an Oompa Loompa during Thicc and Stuffed canning sessions when the brewery is filled with sweet aromas reminiscent of a magical candy factory.
