Claim 52 is a community-scale brewery serving our hometown of Eugene and surrounding areas since 2012.  Our name reflects our deep roots in the community as well as our humble beginnings as a company.  Claim 52 refers to the donation land claim settled by pioneer William Luckey in what is now part of South Eugene and where our first recipes were developed.

While we’ve grown a bit over the years, our mission remains the same:  to bring you incredibly flavorful and approachable beers fresh from tank to tap.  Unless it’s a specialty barrel-aged beer, you won’t find Claim 52 sitting on the grocery store shelf.

With a pioneering spirit and unwavering attention to quality, we strive to put a unique stamp on traditional beer styles like our German Kolsch, IPAs, Northwest red ale, as well as a rotation of seasonal varieties.  No matter the style, we look to bring out the shining characteristics of the hops and yeast selected for each batch so every Claim 52 brew is remarkably tasty.

WHERE TO DRINK THE BEER

We are grateful to be able to stake a small claim in the Northwest craft brew community that is constantly innovating for the betterment of beer lovers everywhere.  We have two locations where you can stop in to meet the Claim crew and sample what’s up on tap: at the brewery in the Westside Warehouse District and at The Abbey, a converted church in downtown Springfield.  Though the atmospheres are different, you’ll experience firsthand our commitment to fresh, flavorful beers in a welcoming environment at both taprooms.
